Cookie policy
Effective 12 July 2026
Short and honest: the justmyday.app website uses no tracking cookies and no analytics. We don't build a profile of you, we don't count you in any statistics tool, and we don't share anything with advertisers. This policy explains what cookies are, what this site does (or rather doesn't) use, and why we don't ask for your cookie consent.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser to, for example, remember settings, keep you signed in, or — on many sites — track your behaviour for analytics or advertising. They are usually split into strictly necessary ones (required for the site to work) and optional ones (analytics, marketing, personalisation), which as a rule require your consent.
2. What cookies this site uses
None of the optional kind. The site is fully static — a set of pre-built files with no login system, no cart and no user account. We set no marketing or analytics cookies; there is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no heatmaps and no tracking scripts. We store none of your personal data in the browser.
3. One small technical exception: local storage
If you see the bar at the bottom of the page telling you we use no tracking cookies and you click "OK", we remember that choice so we don't keep showing the bar. We save it in your browser's local storage (key jmd-cookie-notice), not in a cookie.
- it's a single flag with the value "dismissed" — it contains no personal data and no identifier,
- it stays on your device only and is never sent to the server,
- it is not used for tracking — it does exactly one thing: remembers that the bar was dismissed.
4. Server logs (Cloudflare)
The site is delivered and protected by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it may process standard logs — including your IP address, the requested URL, the date and time, and your browser type. This happens at the infrastructure level, for the purpose of delivering the site and keeping it secure (protection against attacks, abuse limiting), on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These are not cookies, and we build no profile from them.
5. Why we don't ask for cookie consent
Consent is required for cookies other than strictly necessary ones — analytics, marketing, personalisation. Since there are none of those here at all, there is nothing to consent to, and a pop-up "cookie gate" would be an empty ritual. That is why the bar at the bottom of the page is a plain notice you can dismiss — not a condition of using the site, and it blocks no content.
6. How to clear site data anyway
Even though there are no tracking cookies here, you can clear anything this site has stored in your browser (in practice, only the notice-dismissed flag) at any time:
- Safari (iOS): Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data, or Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data,
- Safari (Mac): Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data,
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data,
- Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data.
You can also set your browser to block cookies and local storage — the site will still work normally.
7. Your data and rights (GDPR)
For the full picture of what data we process in the app and on the site, why, for how long, and what your rights are (access, rectification, erasure, objection and the other rights under Art. 15–21 GDPR), see our privacy policy. The data controller is Dariusz Biel, the operator of the Just My Day app.
8. Changes to this policy
If we ever add anything to the site that uses cookies other than strictly necessary ones, we will update this policy first and — where the law requires it — ask for your consent. The current version is always available at justmyday.app/en/cookies.
