Notifications aren't coming through
Pings are the heart of the app, so if they go quiet, check these in order:
- notification permission: iOS Settings → Just My Day → Notifications — these must be on (ideally with Sounds and Badges too),
- Focus / Do Not Disturb:make sure Just My Day isn't silenced by an active Focus mode,
- quiet hours and ping count:in the app (Profile → Notifications) check that your quiet window doesn't cover the whole day and that the number of pings is above zero,
- Low Power Mode: it can delay notifications — try turning it off,
- connection: pings arrive over the internet — check your Wi-Fi or cellular signal.
If it's still quiet, write to us — include your iPhone model and iOS version and we'll help.
How to report a bug
So we can help quickly, please include:
- your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About),
- the app version (shown at the bottom of the Profile screen),
- a short description: what you do step by step and what happens instead of the expected result,
- a screenshot or screen recording if possible.
Beta feedback (TestFlight)
Testing the beta? You can send feedback in two ways:
- screenshot: take a screenshot in the app, tap its thumbnail and choose “Share Beta Feedback” — it reaches us together with technical details,
- the TestFlight app: open TestFlight → Just My Day → “Send Beta Feedback”.
A copy of your data
Want a copy of your whole history (notes, photos, recordings)? Write to kontakt@justmyday.app — we'll prepare a bundle and send you a download link.
Deleting your account
Delete your account in the app: Profile → Delete account. Deletion is permanent — all notes, photos, recordings and transcripts are removed. If you want a copy, ask us for one before deleting. Details are in the privacy policy.
Payments and subscription
The Just My Day Pro subscription is handled by the App Store. To cancel: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Refunds are reviewed by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. You can also write to us about subscription issues — we'll help you sort it out.
